EPiSODE 7:
What if a healed world isn’t built, but sung into being?
Two old friends, two lifelong songstresses, one big question: Can music—and small acts of everyday kindness—actually heal us? In this intimate conversation, longtime friends and Canadian songstresses Jenn Grant and Jill Barber explore how music, aging, motherhood, even fashion… and random acts of kindness can quietly change the world… and why they’re more in love with vinyl records—and people—than ever before.

Jill Barber is a Juno-award winning, Canadian singer-songwriter whose music spans folk, vocal jazz, and pop. She began her recording career in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in the early 2000s before eventually relocating to Vancouver. Jill and Jenn Grant have been friends and collaborators since the beginning of their careers—Jill contributed to Jenn’s 2007 debut album, Orchestra for the Moon.
